Evelyn Federoff

Evelyn Federoff, formerly of New York City, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Golden Hill Health Care Facility, Kingston. She was 95. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 24, 1912, a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Zucker. Mrs. Federoff moved to New York City and worked as a milliner. She later worked as an "umbrella lady" for Alexander's department store in New York City. Her husband, Bernard Federoff, died previously. Three brothers Irving, Marty and David Zucker and one sister Rose Roth all died previously. Surviving are two sons, Michael Federoff and his partner Karen McKenzie of Saugerties, Stanley Federoff and his wife Shayma of Bangalore, India, daughter in law Mary Federoff of Kingston; three grandchildren Ted, Elissa and Jala Federoff, one great granddaughter Layla Federoff; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday at 1:00 PM at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla. SHARON GARDENS CEMETERY 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla (Westchester), New York 10595 (914) 949-0347 West Side Highway (H. Hudson Parkway NORTH) which becomes the Saw Mill River Parkway (North). Get off at Exit 23 Eastview. Turn RIGHT off the Exit onto ROUTE 100C and continue straight. Turn LEFT at the traffic light onto ROUTE 100 (NORTH)(Bradhurst Avenue). Bear RIGHT at Florist and sign for Kensico/Sharon Gardens Cemetery (Lakeview Avenue). Cemetery office will be down the road on your LEFT OR West Side Highway (H. Hudson Parkway NORTH) which becomes the Saw Mill River Parkway (NORTH) to Exit 4 Cross County Parkway (EAST). Continue on the Cross County Parkway (EAST) to Exit 6 Sprain Brook Parkway (NORTH). Continue on the Sprain Brook Parkway (NORTH) to the Eastview Exit (ROUTE 100C). Turn RIGHT off the Exit onto ROUTE 100C and then turn LEFT at the 1st traffic light onto ROUTE 100 (NORTH)(Bradhurst Avenue). Bear RIGHT at Florist and sign for Kensico/Sharon Gardens Cemetery (Lakeview Avenue). Cemetery office will be down the road on your LEFT.
