Ellen Stephano

Ellen Stephano, 89, of Hurley, passed away on June 4th 2015 at TenBroeck Commons Nursing Home in Lake Katrine. She was born in New York City on March 14th, 1926.

Growing up she lived in NYC and Long Island and would spend many summers in Kingston with her grandmother. Ellen eventually moved to Kingston and became a legal secretary after attending business school. When not managing her family owned business, Ellen enjoyed sewing and gardening and was a member of the Hurley Reformed Church where she taught Sunday School.

Ellen was predeceased by her husband, John Stephano in 1990. She is survived by her daughter, Bonny Stephano, her son, John Stephano, her grandsons Angelo and Anthony as well as two great grandchildren Alessandra and Angelo Jr. Her family will miss her dearly.

Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston. Services will be held privately with burial in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.
