Edwin Williams, Jr.

Edwin “Eddie” James Williams, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2024.  Eddie was born on May 15, 1966, in Tuxedo, NY. He was a lifelong resident of Tuxedo, graduating from George F Baker High School.  He lettered in soccer, basketball, and baseball. After graduation, he attended SUNY Brockport before transferring to FIT in New York City.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Art.

Eddie was a talented artist who loved to make the family’s annual Christmas card.  Family and friends looked forward to seeing Eddie’s yearly creations and always remarked on what a gift he had.  Recently Eddie started working on a children’s book which he hoped to get published.  Eddie also worked as a landscaper for many years while pursuing his dream.

Eddie enjoyed spending holidays and special occasions with his family.  He particularly enjoyed spending time with his nephew Adam and nieces Amanda and Rachel.  Eddie is survived by his mother, Ellen May of Woodstock, NY, two brothers, Scott of Woodstock, and Brian and sister-in-law Cori of Woodstock, and sister Susan and sister-in-law Alex, of the Bronx.  He is predeceased by his father Edwin Williams.

Eddie will be missed by all who knew him.  Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Keyser Carr Simpson Hammerl Funeral and Cremation Services, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 11am to 1pm.
