Dorothy Remus, 96, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, NY. She was born on August 9, 1926 in Kingston, NY and was the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Donestad) Schaefer.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Scholl) Trodler of Lake Katrine, NY, Richard (Valerie) Remus of Cedar Rapids, IA, Gayle (Huston) Kellems of AR, Paul (Angela) Remus of Lake Katrine, NY and Penny Teale of Kingston, NY. 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandkids and 1 great great grandchild.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Conrad H. Remus and her son-in-law, Brian Teale.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401. A graveside service will take place on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 1:00pm at Hurley Cemetery, Zandhoek Road, Hurley, NY 12443.
