Debra S. Tears

Debra S. Tears, 59, of Red Hook, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Kingston Hospital.

She was born January 30, 1953 in Middletown, the daughter of the late Richard V. and Harriet Smith.

Debra had been employed by the Dutchess County Office of Mental Hygiene, where she was a registered nurse case manager
A graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Poughkeepsie, Orange County Community College, receiving her degree as a registered nursing. She was a graduate of SUNY New Paltz, with a Masters in Health Administration.

She was a very generous caring and giving person. She enjoyed adventures, traveling, diving, zip lining, para sailing, sailing, and all other kinds of activities. Her peace and tranquility was Ocean views and Mountain Tops. Debra also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and going to yard sales.

Debra is survived by her loving family, her children Scott Tears and Avari Tears, her significant other Duane Neuens and her grandchildren Gavin Tears and Gabriella Tears, her best friend Margaret Rumsey, and brother and a sister

Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. The service will be held on Thursday at 10 am.

Burial in St. Sylvia's Cemetery, Tivoli.
