Debra K. Reinert, 65, of Tillson, NY, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Golden Hill Nursing & Rehab Center in Kingston, NY. She was born February 15, 1956 in New Ulm, Minnesota, daughter of the late Alton and Marlys Bethke.

Debra was married to David Reinert on July 30, 1977 at Jordan Lutheran Church in Orefield, PA. She met David while working at Kmart in Allentown, PA. She later worked in customer service for IBM Federal Credit Union and United Healthcare where she specialized in durable goods.

Debra attended the Bible Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Children's Church. She also was involved with planning church events such as the annual Christmas party and often baked and decorated cakes for church parties. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and watching the food network. She liked hiking, observing nature, and the outdoors in general. She also often traveled to the Adirondacks to look at the foliage, as well as to the Catskills and Frost Valley Area.

She is survived by her husband, David Reinert, her sister, Karen (Dennis) Naegle, her brother, Gary (Tonia) Bethke, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other family members. In addition to her parents, Debra is preceded in death by her sister, Karla Bethke, her brother, Douglas Bethke, as well as her beloved dog, Rosie the Rottweiler.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston, NY. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday December 14, 2021 at Rosendale Plains Cemetery, 793 Springtown Road, Tillson, NY 12486.
