Deborah Warren

January 28, 1957 — November 11, 2025

Deborah Ann Warren, age 68, died unexpectedly on November 11th, 2025 at her home in Phoenicia, New York.

Deborah was born in Valatie, New York, to Theodore and Joan Warren. Deborah grew up in Fort Plain and Dansville, New York. After graduating from Dansville High School, she attended Mansfield College in Pennsylvania. Deborah studied music and later on in life she completed her music degree.  She was an accomplished guitarist, pianist, flutist and also played the piccolo.

Deborah's love of music drew her to community theater. She participated in many local theater productions in the 1990's and early 2000's. She acted, choreographed and on occasion took on the role of accompanist. She was always the comic and life of the party, but she shined brightest on stage.

Deborah was employed by Ulster County ARC for many years. She loved working with the clients she served. She had a very kind and compassionate heart. After retiring from ARC, she extended her caring hand by volunteering at the local thrift store. She enjoyed helping others and always had a smile and a kind word to brighten their day.

Deborah is proceeded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; her parents, Theodore and Joan Warren; brother, Anthony Warren; and sister, Susannah Warren; who died in infancy. Her life long partner Mark Brahman also died unexpectedly on Nov 11th, 2025.

Deborah is survived by her brother, David (Roxanne) Warren; Step-Mother, Dorothea Warren; Step-Brothers, Peter (Phyllis) Cotich and Richard (Krista) Cotich; Nieces, Eloise Warren, Jennifer Bauhoff, Brianna, Alexa and Kiera Cotich and Stephanie Turner; Nephews, Michael, Jarrod and Andrew (Raven) Warren and Landon Cotich; Mark's family, Jay Sr. (Gloria) Brahman; Jay (Deb Tiberio) Brahman; and Jay's sons Roscoe and Fletcher.

Deborah's zest for life and her comedic personality are cherished by all who knew her and we will miss her dearly.

The family is planning a private service at a later date.
