Charyree L. Smith, 69, of Olivebridge, NY, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY, after her battle with Lung Cancer. She was born October 14, 1949 in Chatham, NY the daughter of the late Alfred and Mildred (VanDemark) Smith. She worked for many years at Rotron in Woodstock and later became a CNA.

Charyree was a generous, sweet, and loving woman who was always kind to everyone and was always ready to help anyone at a moments notice. She was also a huge bowl of wonderful, covered in awesome sauce, with a splash of sassy and a dash of fun. Charyree was an outstanding; Mother, Grandmother, Auntie, and friend who loved soul food, music, dancing, family gatherings, and a long game of Spades. She always walked with a smile and had a soft spot for everyone including her grandchildren, who she cherished when they were with her and she prayed for them constantly when they were not.

Charyree is survived by her children, Donna Smith-Moore and her husband Mike Moore, Dyrone London and his wife Lillie Brown London, Derek London and his wife Rose London, her three step children, Desiree London, Elias London, and Dashawn Johnson, 7 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 1 great grandson, her siblings, Edward Smith, Leandra Williams, Judith Smith, and Gerald Smith, her former husband, Elisha London, as well as a host nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her siblings, Mildred Herron, Alfred Smith, Alva Jean Smith, and David Smith.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY, where family and friends may visit on Friday June 7, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm.
