Catherine Martin

Catherine Martin, 81, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at home in Kingston. She was born on September 8, 1943, in Scartaglen, Ireland, daughter of the late Denis and Elizabeth (O'Brien) O'Connell. Catherine was married to Colm Daniel Martin, they wed on September 18, 1965. Colm passed away in July of 2004.

She owned and operated Irish Pub in Kingston from 1980 to 2003.

Catherine is survived by her children, Noeleen Curtis and Colm Martin, her grandchildren, Kirstie Ann Martin, Colm Martin, Jessica Curtis and Liam Curtis, her siblings, Eileen Mulvey, Elizabeth Maille, and Joseph O’Connell, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Catherine is predeceased by her siblings, Bridget Faughnan, William O’Connell, Edmond O’ Connell, Mary Donohoe, Denis O’Connell, Paddy O’Connell, and John O’Connell.

The family would like to especially thank the staff of Hudson Valley Hospice for the care they provided. They are a wonderful caring set of special people.
