Catherine Jane Newton

Catherine Jane Newton, 83, of Kingston, NY, passed Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Riverside Center for Rehab and Nursing in Castleton, NY. She was born May 5, 1938 in Far Rockaway, NY, daughter of the late Leon and Grace (Tretolo) Burlingame.

She received her Bachelor's degree from SUNY New Paltz and later taught elementary school at the Rondout Valley School District in the 1960's for several years. She attended Grace Community Church in Lake Katrine

Catherine is survived by her children, David Newton of Kingston, Linda Graf of Colorado Springs, and Andrew Newton of Kingston, her grandchildren, Elizabeth Devlin, Cathleen Rossman, Rachel Harding, Sarah Elliott, Catie Graf, and Jeremy Graf.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston, NY. A graveside burial service will take place on Thursday February 3, 2022 in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy, PA.
