Carrie E. Bills

Carrie E. Bills of Hoyt St. died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. She was 55. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late Joseph D. and Caroline E. Smith Bills. Carrie worked in assembly at Ulster-Greene ARC's Pecora Center and enjoyed bowling and bingo and had participated in Special Olympics and Girl Scouts. She was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she served as an acolyte and had been a member of the bell choir and she participated in the Wednesday Worship program for members of ARC. In addition to her many friends from ARC, she is survived by two sisters, Gail Handschuh of Saugerties and Fern Teetsel of Kingston, a brother, Joseph D. Bills Jr. of Alamagordo, NM and numerous nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Faith Bills and Ruth Wade and two nephews, Robert Daniel Teetsel and Dwight "Ike" Teetsel died previously. Carrie's family would like to thank the staff at HealthAlliance 3rd. Floor West for their wonderful care and support. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Services, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston where friends will be received on Sunday from 4 - 8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, 11:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church by Pastor James Rowe. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Albany, NY.
