Carolyn Ritchie

Carolyn Ritchie, of Flatbush Road, Kingston died Friday, January 21, 2005 at Kingston Hospital. She was 56. She was born in Kingston on July 30, 1948, a daughter of Mary Giostro Smith and the late John Smith. A hairdresser, Carolyn worked at Discovery Hairstyles, Kingston and then at Taylor's Haircutting, Kingston. She was a parishioner of St. Colman's Church. Surviving are her son Nardino Ritchie, Glasco; her mother Mary Smith of Town of Ulster; one sister Mary Mikesh, Kingston, one brother John Smith, Kingston, dear friend Richard Pasqua, Glasco, one granddaughter Isabella Ritchie, and former husband Nardy D. Ritchie, Saugterties. Reposing at the Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Avenue on Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Colman's Church, East Kingston on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
