Carol Jean Corrow

Carol J. Corrow 66, of Lake Placid, died peacefully early Friday morning November 5, 2021 at the Health Alliance Hospital in Kingston, NY. She was born on October 18, 1955 to the late Adelor and Doris (Jacques) Poulin in Saranac Lake, NY.

Per Carol's request no services will be held. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Saranac Lake, NY alongside her first husband, John Martin. Carol married John on February 21, 1981. Mr. Martin died on August 23, 1987. She remarried Lawrence Corrow on November 2, 1990. Mr. Corrow died on January 22, 2019.

Ms. Corrow is survived by her daughter Jeannette Corrow of Kingston, NY; siblings David Poulin of Saranac Lake, NY; Nancy Martin of Lake Placid, NY; Tammie Brooks of Malone, NY; best friend and sister-in-law Susan Goldsmith of Saranac Lake, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ms. Corrow is predeceased by her sister Linda Lacomba of Sodus, NY.

In her younger years Carol worked at various Hotels/Motels in the North Country before opening and managing a daycare in her home. Carol loved children and spending time with her family. She was usually found taking walks, shopping, playing cards, or listening to Garth Brooks. Carol was also a respected care giver always putting others before herself. She will be remembered for her generosity and huge heart.
