Carl R. Carlew

Highland - Carl R. Carlew of Vineyard Ave. and formerly of Ellenville and Montgomery died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 68. He was born in Montgomery, a son of the late George and May Mullen Carlew. An army veteran, he had been employed as a baker at Cohen's in Ellenville. Surviving are his children, Carl (Barbara) Carlew, Robin Carlew; Harold (Kimberly) Carlew; Eric (Stefanie) Carlew; FaithAnn (Nicholas) Provost. Fifteen grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive. Two daughters, Gloria Jean Carlew and Anne Marie Carlew and two brothers, George and Robert Carlew died previously. Friends will be received at the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston on Wednesday from 11-12:00 PM.
