Betty Ann “Acker” Eaton, Betty Ann affectionately called “Yank” just celebrated her 85th birthday and 66th year anniversary of marriage to Donald Eaton which began as the result of a Hay Ride painlessly went to sleep on January 14, 2024 and is now with the Lord our Savior.
Betty Ann was born, raised and lived in East Kingston until she was in her 70’s. She and Don then moved to West Palm Beach, Florida to be with their children. Betty Ann graduated from Kingston High School in 1956. After raising a family of four she first drove bus for students of Special Needs and then became the Head Secretary for Kingston High School.
Betty Ann was loved by all and leaves behind her beloved husband Don Eaton, daughter’s Lori, Diana, and Michele Eaton and a son, Donald Eaton, Jr. Betty also had five grandchildren: Kristy Remsen, Trisha Nagy, Nikki Naccarato/Racobaldo, Meredith and Garrett Eaton and three Great Grandchildren: Kylee, Madisyn and Austin Remsen.
Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401 where family and friends may visit on Friday January 26, 2024 from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday January 27, 2024 at 10am, followed by burial at Montrepose Cemetery and a Celebration of Life at 1pm at Frank Guido’s Little Italy, 14 Thomas St., Kingston, NY 12401.
