Bernard Cuttler, age 91, of 2 Benner Road, Red Hook, NY died Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Thompson House of Rhinebeck, NY. Mr. Cuttler was born March 31, 1916 in New York, NY. He is the son of the late Joseph and Esther (Backal) Cuttler. He was predeceased by his wife, Mae Grossman who died on June 22, 1997.
During WW II he worked for the Signal Corp, he then was a machinist in Brooklyn for Zipcord Manufacturing, he then went to work for the Internal Revenue Service in lower Manhattan as a revenue officer until his retirement When he worked for the IRS, he was on the US Treasury Pistol Team, he won several competitions,
He is survived by his children, Dr. Bruce Cuttler, Syma Cuttler and Eric Cuttler, brother of Shirley Lawrence and the late Seymour Cuttler.
The funeral will be private with entombment at Wiltwyck Cemetery.
