Arthur R. Palmer, Jr., 75, of Kingston, NY, formerly of Franklin Square, Long Island, NY, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Golden Hill Nursing & Rehab Center in Kingston, NY. He was born on January 9, 1951, in Rockville Centre, NY, son of the late Arthur Palmer, Sr. and Julia (Durland) Palmer.
Artie worked for Gateway Industries in Kingston for many years. He was a former parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church where he served as an usher, and he was a former member of the Saugerties Knights of Columbus. Artie was a sports enthusiast. His favorite teams were the NY Giants, NY Jets, NY Mets, and especially the Duke Blue Devils.
He is survived by his siblings, Gayle Brackett of Jacksonville, FL, and Susanne Palmer of Kingston, and his nephew, William Brackett of Jacksonville, FL.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Friday May 15, 2026 from 9:30am to 10:15am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s RC Church, 160 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401, at 11am with burial following in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
