Anne Farrell

Anne Farrell, 86, of Lake Katrine, NY, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at home. She was born September 19, 1936 in Queens, one of nine children of the late Robert and Winifred (Gerdes) Brennan. Anne was married to George Farrell, they wed on August 15, 1970.

She was a high school graduate of the Lady of Wisdom Academy in NYC. She later received her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Johns University and her Master’s Degree from SUNY New Paltz.

She was a nun with the Daughters of Wisdom and also was a teacher at several Catholic Schools for many years. She was a founding member of the Kingston Swim Club, loved reading, and taking care of her home.

Anne is survived by her husband George Farrell of Lake Katrine, her daughters, Anne (Steve) Tuttle of Ringwood, NJ, Mary (Murali) Coryell of Boiceville, NY, and Jane (Jason Suchowiecki) Farrell of New Paltz, NY, and her grandchildren, Stephen Tuttle, Ryan Tuttle, Shannon Tuttle, Keri Tuttle, Charles Coryell, Jackson Coryell, Kate Suchowiecki, and Trent Suchowiecki.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at St. Catherine Laboure RC Church, 200 Tuyten Bridge Rd, Lake Katrine, NY 12449.
