Alice M. Britten

Alice M. Britten, 90, of Saugerties, NY, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Lake Katrine, NY. She was born February 26, 1935 in New York City, daughter of the late Margaret Sullivan. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Britten, and sister, Patricia (Sullivan) Williams.

Alice worked for Saugerties Bowler Club for many years. She enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family, cooking, watching her grandchildren play sports, and family gatherings.

Alice is survived by her son, Robert M. (Amy) Britten of Tillson, her daughter, Cathy (Gerald) Breithaupt of Saugerties, grandchildren, Emma and Austin Britten, Brooke Breithaupt, Shannon (Billy) Ford, and sister, Margaret (Sullivan) Finnegan, of Jacksonville, FL.
