Alan Schunk

Alan Philip Schunk, 80, of Kingston, NY, died on September 6, 2022. He was born in Hudson, NY, and was the youngest of 6 children. He lived in Jersey City, NJ for many years. Alan was eager to serve his country and enlisted in the Army soon after his 18th birthday. Unfortunately, because of a personal health issue, he was honorably discharged. Alan was predeceased by his parents, Helen Irene and William Henry Schunk, his brothers, William and Mathias, and his sister, Myra Colavito. He is survived by his sisters, Vera Sterlacci and Nora Curley. 

 

Alan was a gentle soul and quietly charitable. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by many.
