Richard Rogin, of Manor Drive, Woodstock and formerly of New York City died Monday, January 1, 2007 at Benedictine Hospital. He was 74.
He was born April 5, 1932 in New York City, a son of the late Robert and Billie Rudell Rogin.
He graduated from Dartmouth and pursued a career in journalism. He wrote for the World News Tonight with Peter Jennings and also wrote for the New York Times.
Surviving is his wife, Abigail Thomas of Woodstock, two daughters, Sally Rogin Dreslin of Albany and Kate Rogin of New York City, a son, Frank Rogin of New York City, a brother, Gilbert Rogin of New York City and two grandchildren, Nora Dreslin and Mateo Rogin.
Cremation was private.
