Kaireem Lonnel Meeks, Jr, 25, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
Born in Kingston, he was a son of Kaireem L. Meeks, Sr and Patricia Tinsley of Kingston. Kaireem enjoyed eating, music, rap battles, basketball, his kids, his family, video games and teaching his brothers and sisters "anything" they didn't know. He also was a New York Knicks fan, New York Giants fan, Syracuse Orange fan and a Boston Red Sox fan.
In addition to his parents, Kaireem is survived by his two children, Kaimeer Meeks and Jazaraye Meeks, both of Kingston, five siblings, LaVonna Naccarato of Port Ewen, Donavon Meeks of Kingston, Isaiah Meeks of Kingston, Tatiyona Meeks of Kingston and Samona Meeks of Kingston, his maternal grandparents, Shelby Tedone of Kingston, Robert Tinsley of Kingston, and his paternal grandmother, Elder Marjorie Knox of Kingston, two aunts, Marvityna McWilliams of Pennsylvannia, Samona "Aunt Monie" Davis, an uncle, David Meeks, Jr. of Kingston, two nieces, Shelby and Abigail.
Kaireem was predeceased by his grandfather, David Meeks, Sr. and his uncle David Swartz, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the Riverview Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM at the church.
Interment will be private.
