Joseph Thomas Morley Jr.

PALMETTO, FLORIDA) - Joseph Thomas Morley Jr., formerly of Hurley, died December 13, 2011 in Florida. He was 80. He was born in Port Leyden, NY a son of the late Joseph Thomas and Hilda Reilly Morley. A US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, Joe was a life member of VFW. He worked at Ulster County Jail for many years. After the death of his wife, Faith, he moved to Florida. Beloved husband of the late Faith Williams Morley, brother of Sue Halstead of Port Ewen, J. Peter Morley of Garner, NC and Deborah Hall of Oklahoma City, OK; brother in law of Msgr. William Williams, Virgina Condon and Anne Fonseca. Many nieces, nephews and two grandnephews survive. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by his brother in law, Msgr. William Williams, at the Msgr. O'Reilly Hurley Mission of St. Joseph's Church, Zandhoek Rd., Hurley at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 22nd. A service, by the Hurley V.F.W. will follow.
