Geraldine M. Ashdown

Geraldine M. Ashdown, 73 of Kingston, died Sunday, November 2, 2014 at her home. Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Thomas & Laura Bonavita Naccarato. She was a very devout catholic who was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Gerry was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her two sons, Troy Ashdown and his wife Tracy and Scott Ashdown and his wife Mary, one brother, Joseph Naccarato. Three grandchildren, Jared, Gabrielle, Gianna and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, Gerry was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Uhl. Geraldine will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral procession will form from the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
