Edith Isaac

Edith 'Itka' Isaac of Franklin Square formerly of the Bronx, and Rego Park in Queens, died at Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola Monday, April 3, 2006. She was 92 years old. She was born February 13, 1914 in Schenectady, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Louis 'Label' Levine and Dora 'Devora' Simpson Levine. Loving wife to Jacob 'Jack' W. Isaac who died in 2000. Survivors include two duaghters, Donna Jacowitz and her husband Dr. Larry Jacowitz of Kingston and Ellen Sabin of Bayside, Queens; two brothers Jack and Jules Levine; three grandchildren Beth Jacowitz and her husband Chris, Dara Perry and her husband Vinnie, and Jessica Rovenblatt and her husband Wayne. Her brother Nathan Levine died previously. Graveside services were held at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 12:45pm. Rabbi Yitzchok Hect officiated.
